Founded in 2017 in Lititz, Pennsylvania, GP Factor was built on a simple idea: create better gear for the vehicles we actually drive. Founder AJ Lafferty and his team combined experience from multiple industries with a passion for overlanding to design products that solve real-world challenges on the trail. Every GP Factor product is engineered, manufactured, and tested in the USA with a focus on strength, functionality, and long-term durability.
For AJ, the people behind the products are just as important as the products themselves. Every member of the GP Factor team takes pride in every step of the process—from machining and welding to packing each order—because they're committed to building lifelong customers, not one-time sales. That dedication to American craftsmanship and customer service is what continues to drive GP Factor as they create innovative gear that helps adventurers go farther with confidence.
Partner Steel's story began in 1947 when brothers Paul and Dale Partner sold part of their family's Idaho farm to start a steel fabrication shop in Pocatello. That passion for building eventually led Dale's son, Harvey Partner, to create the first Cook Partner stove in 1981 after countless river trips through the Grand Canyon left him frustrated with heavy, unreliable camp stoves. Designed around an incredibly efficient burner system and housed inside a watertight military ammo can, the stove quickly earned a reputation for durability and performance—the product simply spoke for itself.
Today, Jaime Agado, who took ownership of Partner Steel in 2022 after joining the company in 2013, continues that same commitment to American craftsmanship. More than 60 products are still built by hand in Pocatello, Idaho, with skilled craftsmen welding, assembling, and inspecting every piece in-house. Cook Partner stoves are fully serviceable, backed by experts who know every product inside and out, and built to last a lifetime—proof that quality, craftsmanship, and taking care of customers never go out of style.
Founded in 2010, Pakmule began with one simple goal: make hauling gear easier. After years of using heavy steel cargo carriers, founder Kansas set out to design a better solution. The result was the first all-aluminum Pakmule—lightweight, rust-resistant, and thoughtfully engineered with features like curved side rails, tailgate access, and an anti-wobble hitch system.
Today, every Pakmule is proudly built in Texas using primarily American-sourced aluminum. With sustainability, craftsmanship, and practical innovation at the core of every design, Pakmule continues to build cargo carriers that are made to work as hard as the people who rely on them—on the job, at camp, and everywhere in between.
Founded in 2012, Blue Ridge Overland Gear began in founder Matt Akenhead's backyard "Thread Shed" in Bedford, Virginia. Armed with a sewing machine, quality materials, and a passion for adventure, Matt started creating durable bags to keep his family's gear organized on off-road trips. What began as a personal project quickly grew into a company dedicated to helping others stay organized and ready for their next adventure.
Today, Blue Ridge Overland Gear remains a small-batch manufacturer, designing, sewing, and shipping every product under one roof in Virginia. Using USA-sourced materials and built with decades of use in mind, every bag reflects the same commitment to thoughtful design, rugged durability, and American craftsmanship that started in the original Thread Shed.
Founded in 1997 by Dave Harriton, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) grew from a one-room garage with a dirt floor in Missoula, Montana into one of the most respected names in the off-road industry. What began with modifying Jeep TJ Wranglers evolved into a company known for engineering OE-quality upgrades that enhance capability, reliability, and real-world performance.
Today, more than 90% of AEV's products are manufactured within 200 miles of Detroit, reflecting the company's commitment to American engineering and craftsmanship. From suspension systems and bumpers to wheels and complete vehicle packages, every component is designed to work as part of a complete system—delivering proven performance on the highway, on the trail, and everywhere in between.
