2023 Jeep Wrangler JLU Overland Build

We had a 2023 Jeep JLU enter the shop for a complete overland transformation! What started out as a "not so stock" 392 Hemi JLU that is now a turn-key overland vehicle. Let's dive into the build and show you what went into building this rig.

We started off with the exterior of the Jeep, adding the Alu-Cab 3R Rooftop Tent with a Drop Down Table and the Alu-Cab 270° Shadow awning.

The 3R tent's roof has tracks, which allow load bars to be added to the roof to make room for additional accessories. Our customer requested a pair of Maxtrax, an Alu-Cab Roof Tray, Alu-Cab Table Slide, Alu-Cab Table, and two of Sunflare's new 50-watt Solar Panel Blox. 

Tucked away on the Rhino Rack Roof Rack are five KC Lights LED's to light up base camp when parked and have a chase light for those dusty trails, all controlled by a SwitchPro BantamX Controller found in the driver's area.

The interior underwent a complete remodel by ditching the rear seats, making room for a Goose Gear Rear Seat Delete, Goose Gear Camp Kitchen, Two Drawer Module, and Tailgate table. The Camp Kitchen has provisions for a 55QT Fridge Freezer, two-burner stove from Partner Steel and heaps of storage. 

The last piece of the puzzle is to be able to power electronics, but not only power them but, control the entire electrical system. And that is all done with Redarc's Manager Alpha 100. The manager 100 distributes the power feeding the Redarc 200W inverter, manages the power heading to the two 100ah deep cycle batteries and ARB 55qt Fridge Freezer. All of the electronics can be simply controlled by the Redarc Redvision TVMS Display.
