The CampKitchen eliminates the need to bring a table for cooking and food prep. While the stove is not permanently installed the flat surface doubles as a prep space. If you imagine the back of your vehicle without this system, you would have a cooler that takes up one side of your trunk. Meanwhile your chairs, blankets, fire wood, ect. next to the cooler. Using storage containers is a great way to keep your gear separate based on their use. We like to dedicate one case for one purpose. On a short weekend trip with only two cases we dedicate one case to kitchen and cooking gear: camp stove propane containers, pancake mix, spatulas, cooking spray, sponge, utensils ect. While the other case is extra blankets, sun screen, lanterns, bug spray ect. On a quick weekend getaway we find 2 cases and some pre-prepped food in the fridge keeps it simple and easy.
