Lets Talk C.A.M.P
Offroading, camping, and adventure travel have a very important principal in common, Organization. When out on the trail being organized is the key for a less stressful adventure. Seasoned travelers and offroaders know all to well anything that can happen will happen, what's important is how you deal with these unknown variables. One thing is for certain, if your equipment is organized, finding a particular tool, cooking equipment, recovery gear ect. will minimize or eliminate stress.
So Think C.A.M.P

Camping equipment has evolved so much over the years. Although gear has stood the test of time, with new innovations and advancements in the production processes companies have been able to achieve designs that were once unthinkable. Thanks to these advancements we are able to bring equipment that once took up vital space, as well as have storage solutions to keep ourselves organized. Which brings up our mantra - C.A.M.P
Compact
Compact is key when it comes to organization. We like to pack our gear in to categories and each category gets one container/ storage bag. Keeping all your cooking gear or recovery gear in their own containers makes it easy to grab when the time comes. If you are fumbling through your cooking gear for a tree saver strap, items will them become disorganized and missed placed during the heat of a recovery situation. So it's best to have your gear contained, labeled and separated.
A great example of a compact product is the Madkon6003 Braai Barbeque Grill. Until now cooking was done over a camp fire or a gas powered grill. The thought of brining your traditional charcoal grill for a cross-country trip was unheard of due to the space a grill would take up. Madkon's new 600s Braai packs to a 3in thick x 2ft wide (slimmer than your grade school binder) or the AmmoBox Braai that fits into, like the name implies, an AmmoBox with tons of room to spare for a pot, pan and utensils.
With such a small footprint packing your cooking gear into one case is now simple. Madkon's Braai's also checks the box for Multipurpose because when you are done cooking you now have a portable fire pit.
Accessible
How many times have you been looking for a specific item in a container and it always finds its way to the bottom. Or you've removed half the contents to find it. What if there was a way to take the contents of a contain and divvy it up even further? Better yet if you could split it up but not have to open each divider to see what is inside?
Camp Cover makes awesome Ammo Box Pouches with clear tops to easily see what is in each pouch. Better yet they are available in three options depending on how you need to split up your container. These pouches can be used for anything you need: first aide kit, cooking, toiletries, spare parts, tools, the list goes on.
Multipurpose
Multipurpose means a tool that is capable of more than one function. If one item can play the role of two or three separate items this will lead to a more organized vehicle. These multipurpose items tend to be larger products, with the exception of the spork, we love sporks. When we think multipurpose we think mostly about storage solutions.

Goose Gear's CampKitchen serves multiple purposes. Not only is it a galley kitchen but it provides a safe protected area for a Fridge Freezer, a flat surface above the Fridge for more containers, it pulls out to access the Fridge, stores a stove and cooking utensils. And when you are done cooking the Fridge slides in along with stove and utensils all collapse back into the vehicle without having to break down any of it. Tidy, compact, simple setup.
The ARB Transit bag is another example of a Muli use item. Not only does it protect your Fridge Freezer, it acts as another storage device. Most people are cooking with the Fridge near by so it makes for a great place to store cooking tools, thermometer, napkins ect.
Portable
Finally portable products are a must. A good camping product can be easily carried or moved, being a lighter and smaller version than the traditional product. The "get it and go" mantra is only made more possible when packing the vehicle can be done with ease. Luckily a lot of equipment comes in strong reinforced carrying cases that are well labeled. Some companies are even using tear proof materials which can withstand rubbing against other objects while being pulled out of the vehicle for years to come.
Thankfully there are so many products on the market to choose from that cater to everyone's price point making finding the gear that fits your needs pretty simple. It is important to do your research, look at reviews and see what other people have said about a product. Go to a retailer and get your hands on the product and see it. If your local vehicle outfitter sells a product there is a good chance they have used the product before and believe it the quality.
