2004 Toyota Land Cruiser 100

This 2004 burgundy beauty received a number of upgrades to shift it to present day- both in look and functionality for overlanding. In the front, we spiced up the previously installed ARB Winch Bar Front Bumper with ARB Fog Lights, a Warn ZEON 8-S Electric Winch, and a Factor 55 Offset Fairlead with a Factor 55 Flatlink. To match the front bumper, we installed an ARB Rear Modular Protection Bumper with a left hand side Jerry Can Holder and a Right Hand Side Tire Carrier. Other rear bumper accessories include, an ARB Reverse Light Kit, ARB Hi-Lift Mounting Bracket, and an ARB Antenna Mount.

Up top, we mounted a raw-finished Alu-Cab Gen 3 Expedition Roof Top Tent to the pre-existing Front Runner slimline roof rack. The Alu-Cab Gen Expedition is one of the premier hard shell roof top tents on the market. Built tough with robust aluminum housing with a slender, aerodynamic design, this tent will far exceed your expectations in functionality, comfort, convenience, and insulation. Plus, with its sturdy construction, you can still load your gear up top- kayaks, luggage, Hi-Jacks, Solar Panels etc. with the addition of Alu-Cab load bars.

Under the hood, we hooked up a dual battery system using a Slee Off Road Land Cruiser LX470 Second Battery Tray and an Off-Grid Engineering DIY Dual Battery System with a Interstate MTZ-75DT Battery. In order to power the tent's lights and USB ports, we wired the tent plug to a Blue Sea Fuse Panel in the rear of the vehicle, which was then connected to the auxiliary battery. Lastly, to wrap this build up we outfitted an essential on any trip: an ARB fridge freezer, which is secured on an Alu-Cab tilting fridge slide. By keeping your perishables fresh and cool throughout your journey, you can have peace of mind to knowing that the meat, vegetables, and drinks that you brought along are at optimal temperature and spoil-free.
