Employee Pick By: Desiree Galasso

Cooking isn't usually my favorite thing. Honestly, it often feels like a chore. But the Square Potset has changed that for me as it is the most versatile thing that I own. It works just as well in my kitchen as it does when I'm at camp, and while it comes with a higher price tag than traditional cookware, the multifunctional design makes it totally worth it.

How many items can you truly use both at home and outdoors? That's what makes the Square Potset stand out. I can justify having it in my arsenal because it simplifies my life and actually makes cooking feel less like a chore. And that's saying something from someone who hates to cook!

Why Not Cast Iron?

People love cast iron, and I get the appeal. But it's heavy, bulky, and high maintenance to keep it seasoned correctly. Add in the fact that I have a long-haired dog that goes everywhere with me, and now I'm stressing about dog hair sticking to an oiled-up pan. Not exactly the seasoning I want on my food!

The Square Potset was designed with camping and overlanding in mind. The pots nest neatly into each other, the detachable handle tucks away within the smaller pot, and everything packs down into a nice heavy duty carry bag. At home, it slides easily into a cabinet. On the road, it fits right in with my gear.

Cook on Anything, Anywhere

Durability is one of the coolest features. These pots can handle just about any heat source:

-Induction or glass top stoves

-Gas grills

-Pellet grills, yes, even the Traeger!

-Charcoal grills

-Over an open fire

I've personally used mine in the oven, on my Weber Gas Grill, my Blackstone, my Traeger, and on an open fire and it has never let me down. I've baked bread, cobblers, steamed clams, and even made burnt ends. I'm not a chef, but Square Cookware makes it easy to experiment.

The Details That Matter

What makes this set stand out are the little design choices that make life easier:

-Stackable design saves space in your kitchen, or when you are trying to pack light on a trip.

-The Square shape gives you maximum cooking area while still packing down small in a bin.

-The non-stick coating means that cleanup is as simple as a wet paper towel which is extremely handy when camping.

-Detachable handle clips on and off with one button and stores inside the pots.

-Comes with silicone mats to protect the pots and the table when hot. They can also be used as oven mits.

-Durable aluminum build with a 5-year warranty means its gear that you can count on.

Final Take

If you are tired of juggling multiple pots and pans, lugging heavy cast iron, or worrying about storage, the Square Cookware is a smart, multifunctional solution. It's earned a permanent spot in my gear.
