OVER 25 YEARS
In 2000, when Alu-Cab opened its doors in Cape Town, South Africa the journey began. Their own African travel experiences taught them that space and weight were the two greatest hurdles challenging overland travelers.
Alu-Cab developed the first-ever aluminium canopy specifically engineered with adventure travellers in mind. The more they refined, strengthened and accessorized the canopy, the more they realized its boundless potential.
The company has grown from building their first aluminium canopies to a full swing manufacturing plant catering to the world market. Today, they manufacturer in 14 factories employ over 500 engineers, designers, fabricators and sales staff.
Alu-Cab is a home-grown South African company that has its full manufacturing facility based in Ottery, Cape Town its entire product line distributes in over 73 countires.
