The E360 10 A MPPT Solar Charge Controller has the latest technology in a solar charge controller with maximum power point tracking (MPPT). An MPPT controller is more like a sophisticated DC to DC charger that can take the maximum voltage and current from the solar panels and provide the maximum output needed by the battery bank. It can identify the location on the solar panels with the best sun exposure at the highest available voltage and current and make continual adjustments as sun conditions change. MPPT solar charge controllers can be 30% more efficient than simpler pulse width modulated (PWM) solar charge controllers.
