Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) takes one of Triple-R's most iconic motorsport lamps and makes it even more versatile. Engineered for drivers who operate in unpredictable and demanding conditions, the addition of the yellow dipped beam enhances visibility where white light struggles. In contrast, the white high beam continues to deliver uncompromising performance. Sitting alongside the existing Carbon-6 products, Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) gives drivers the freedom to choose the solution best suited to their environment.Available with SPOT or DRIVE optics, each lamp operates in three modes:HIGH BEAM – BOOST MODE (100% output)DIP BEAM (yellow light output, aimed lower)HIGH BEAM – REDUCED OUTPUT (25% output, UNECE 149 compliant)The lamp also features an integrated backlight with white and amber colour options. The backlight colour can be selected at any time after installation by flashing the backlight on and off a pre-set number of times. Repeating the same on/off sequence allows the user to switch back to the other backlight colour.UNECE 149 approval applies to the lamp when operated in low output (25%) mode, with the light programmable between on-road compliant output and high-output boost mode. Programming is achieved by flashing the lamp on and off a pre-set number of times prior to use. The same sequence can be used to re-activate boost mode when the lamp is used off-road or in regions where output levels above UNECE R149 are permitted.The lamp housing is manufactured from high-strength, heat-resistant PC-ABS material, while thermal control is managed via a CAE-optimised anodised aluminium element, ensuring consistent LED performance in demanding environments. Weighing just 400g, the lamp maintains an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, while dynamic drive modulation protects internal electronics under extreme thermal and environmental conditions.
