For this build, we superseded the stock bumper with a CBI High Clearance Rear Bumper. This bumper comes with various options such as a single swing, double swing, angled tire carrier, and a straight tire carrier. Our customer chose to go with a double swing and a straight tire carrier. Powered coated black, this rear bumper matches the previously installed CBI 3 Gen Tacoma Front Bumper and CBI Rock Sliders to give this truck a nice cohesive look and style. Compared to the stock bumper, this CBI rear bumper offers a lot! It provides ample protection to the vulnerable truck body by keeping it high and out of the way; smooth boat-sided edges to improve approach and departure angles and prevent unwelcome jams or catches on the trail, and space to store gear and a spare tire.
Next, we equipped the fun stuff that transforms your rig into a home. First, we outfitted an Alu-Cab Explorer Canopy as the foundation for the roof top tent. The Alu-Cab Canopy fits the 2nd gen Tacoma, 3rd gen Tacoma, 2014+ Coloardo, and 19+ Ranger and comes with a load of awesome options to truly get the truck canopy of your dreams. With an Alu-Cab 1450mm low profile load bar kit, we secured an Alu-Cab Gen III Expedition Roof Top Tent. This tent is one of the premier hard-shell roof top tents on the market and hits all the marks on functionality, comfort, convenience, and insulation needed for camping no matter the environment or severity of weather conditions.
This rig also features a dual battery system, which helps power accessories such as its ARB 50 Qt Series I Fridge Freezer and auxiliary lighting present in the front bumper.
