2019 Chevrolet Colorado

This Colorado isn't finished yet. This round in the shop, we installed the full AEV skid plate system for a 2015+ Colorado ZR2. The kit protects all vulnerable undercarriage areas and includes a fuel tank skid, transfer case skid, engine skid, rear differential slider, exhaust crossover, and a transmission skid plate. With this protection, we also added extra light for the trail with six rigid industries rock lights. We positioned a pair in the front bumper, mid-body, and in the rear bumper, so that difficult obstacles don't slip out of sight while driving offroad at night, and if they do the skid plates good your back.

We hooked up this blazing orange Colorado with an unparalleled fridge and fridge slide set up. We mounted an MSA Accessories DS95 Fridge Drop Slide to the previously installed Decked drawer system. From its locked and stowed position, the fridge slide smoothly moves out and lowers 30 cm in a safe and easy motion. At this lowered position accessing and stocking your fridge is effortless. This refined, patented design features N670 -1200N struts that will stand up to an amazing carry capacity of 400+ lbs. In addition, its sleek, compact maximizes your bed space while maintaining good looks with its stainless steel blue anodized handle and faceplate. This slide carries a Dometic CFX-75 Dual Zone WiFi Special Edition Electric Cooler. The CFX is Dometic's most awarded product. An impressive portable dual zone fridge freezer with easy operation and capabilities of heavy-duty operation, this fridge is a must on any overland adventure. To pair with the CFX, our customer purchased a Dometic PLB40 Portable Lithium Battery, which is specifically designed to power a CFX cooler for the weekend, 12V devices, USB accessories. This Battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate which makes this battery light weight, compact, and bale to deliver power for a longer compared to a Lithium Ion powered battery.

Lastly, to keep things high and dry while adventuring, we installed an ARB differential Breather Kit and an AEV snorkel kit. Differential breathers serve an important purpose on a 4WD vehicle of venting the air pressure in the drivetrain assemblies such as the differentials, transfer case, and transmission. This kit is designed to eliminate the shortcomings of the stock breathers by providing a high flow, zero back pressure, zero vacuum system. The snorkel, on the other hand, keeps the air intake clean and dry in dusty or wet environments.
