This 2024 INEOS Grenadier (Build #226) came to us with a full build already in place—but it wasn’t meeting the customer’s needs. After working with the owner to better understand how they use their vehicle, we removed the existing setup and started from a clean slate to create a fully integrated system tailored specifically to their lifestyle.
The foundation of this build begins with an Alu-Cab Silenus Roof Conversion, one of the most popular upgrades for the Grenadier platform. From there, we added an Alu-Cab 270° awning, Sunflare 100W solar panels (x4) mounted to Alu-Cab load bars, and wired everything to a Victron MPPT 75/15 charge controller. A Starlink Mini with a GP Factor roof mount ensures reliable connectivity wherever the vehicle travels.
For exterior storage and utility, we installed Alu-Cab window MOLLE panels, allowing the customer to mount RotopaX for diesel and water on the passenger side, while the driver side carries an axe and shovel. Additional upgrades include Agile rear window MOLLE panels, GP Factor load bar-mounted Maxtrax mounts with two sets of Maxtrax, and an Alu-Cab Shower Cube.
Inside, the build features a full GP Factor interior system with a sink, stove, couch, and bamboo countertop. Instead of a fixed grey water system, the customer opted for a simple and portable solution using Dometic Hydration Jugs for both clean and dirty water powered to the Dometic Recon Faucet. We also installed a National Luna 55L single-zone fridge for dependable cold storage.
The electrical system was completely redesigned using a Redarc setup, including a 150Ah battery, Alpha 50 BCDC charger, 1200W inverter with controller and AC outlets, Blue Sea fuse block, and custom-mounted components under the rear floor. The floor system is fully removable with quick latches for easy access and serviceability.
All electronics are managed through a Switch-Pros R12, which controls the Silenus lighting and charging ports, GP Factor interior power, Starlink, ditch lights, chase lights, beacon and flood lighting, fridge circuit, Jetpack heater, water pump system, and relocated factory circuits. The system was also configured to dim automatically with the headlights for improved usability.
For heating, we installed the GP Factor Jetpack Heater, a diesel-powered system using a Webasto heater and thermostat, integrated cleanly into the rear of the vehicle.
Lighting upgrades include Triple R Chase 50 rear-facing lights (x2), Triple R ditch lights, a Triple R grille light kit, as well as additional flood lights, brake lights, and amber beacon lights for maximum visibility on and off the trail.
To support the added weight and improve performance, we installed Fox 2.5 DSC shocks (front and rear) with Agile reservoir relocation brackets, a Fox ATS 2.0 steering stabilizer, and a Powerbrake big brake kit to ensure confident stopping power.
Protection upgrades include Agile rear control arm skid plates and steel front and rear differential covers, while communications and monitoring are handled through a Midland antenna and bull bar mount wired to radios under the driver seat, along with a Tripod front and rear-facing camera system.
The result is a fully reimagined Grenadier build—purpose-built for real-world use, long-term reliability, and maximum versatility. Build #226 showcases what’s possible when every component is selected and integrated with intention.
