The AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is now available for the JK Wrangler! This bumper comes loaded with a host of innovative features, updated styling, and enhanced functionality. When it comes to Jeep bumpers, the AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is truly in a league of its own. TWO UNIQUE STYLES. SAME GREAT FEATURES. Some people prefer the look of a full-width bumper, while others prefer a short corner bumper—the AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is available in BOTH configurations! The EX Front Bumper features a more traditional, full-width design for maximum front end protection. The RX Front Bumper utilizes short corners for a more aggressive look and maximum tire clearance for anyone running 40” tires or bigger. Both bumper configurations share the same core design, winch and recovery features, as well as compatibility with our JK Front Skid Plate. LIGHTWEIGHT AND EXTREMELY STRONG The AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is manufactured out of Hot Stamped Boron Steel and features an OE-quality, multi-stage E-coat/powder coat finish for maximum corrosion and UV resistance. Hot Stamped Boron Steel is an ultra-high strength, press hardened steel that is commonly used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high yield strength. The complete, full-width EX Front Bumper weighs approximately 110 pounds and the short corner RX bumper weighs in at less than 90 pounds! SUPERIOR WINCH ACCESS AND VISIBILITY What good is a winch bumper if it is difficult to use? The carefully thought-out profile of the AEV EX/RX Front Bumper offers plenty of accessibility to your winch’s clutch handle and a clear view of your winch line during recovery operations – even with lights mounted on the center hoop! VISIBILITY OVER ANY TERRAIN Lighting is a critical component to traveling safely through remote backcountry, so the AEV EX/RX Front Bumper allows for the installation of AEV 7000 Series LED Off-Road Lights underneath the center hoop with the use of our optional Off-Road Light Brackets (sold separately). The AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is also designed to accept the newer, better performing LED fog lights that are found on the JL Wrangler, which are readily available from any Jeep dealership. READY FOR ANYTHING The AEV EX/RX Front Bumper is up for any recovery task that may present itself, with two Hi-Lift Jack guides and a pair of heavy duty, chassis-mounted recovery points that are tested to meet all OE load specifications and are appropriately sized for ¾” anchor shackles. A 10,000lb Warn Zeon 10-S winch (or other similarly sized winches) can be added to the AEV Front Bumper with the use of our optional Winch Mount. An optional Non-Winch Cover Plate is available for customers who don’t plan on installing a winch and wish to cover up the winch opening.
