OK4WD Rendezvous at Devils Backbone Brewery

Earlier this month, our crew was buttoning up the details on our annual trip to Arrington, Virginia, to attend Overland Expo East. Every year OK4WD is the Title Sponsor of the three-day event, where brands from all over the country head to the Infinity Downs race track to showcase the best overland products in the industry. 

While planning the event, we came up with the idea of hosting a pre-Expo event and inviting 50 customers to camp with us! We reached out to the folks at Devils Backbone Brewery and got the go-ahead and Rendezvous was born.

We spent two days camping at the brewery's grounds. If you're not aware, you can book everything from a house, an Airstream trailer, RV camp spots, and ground tent campsites right on Devils Backbone's property. We haven't found a more accommodating brewery than DB, and we are so grateful such a gem of a place exists only five hours away. 

Nestled just below the Blue Ridge Parkway DB is a hub for adventurers. We opted for a three-mile hike at Crabtree Falls, which did not disappoint. The views of cascading waterfalls never stopped the entire hike.

There is also amazing fishing, rail trails for runners, walkers, and bikers, wineries, more breweries, and local BBQ eateries. If you're more of a base camp kind of person, Devils Backbone has a beautiful pavilion you can relax in, a cigar lounge, and a distillery. You'll be asking yourself which activity we are going to skip rather than what we should do today.
