JKS Exhaust Extension Spacer for 2012-2014 Jeep Wrangler JK
The exhaust extensions are machined from 2-1/2'' x 1/4'' wall DOM tubing, designed to match the factory exhaust flare joints for a tight leak proof seal. The extensions can be installed in a matter of minutes without the need to drill, cut, or weld.
Jeep upgraded the Wrangler JK powerplant in 2012, replacing the subpar 3.8L V6 with the powerful 3.6L Pentastar and in the process converting many to the Jeep platform and bringing many early JK owners back to the dealership to trade up for the later model JKs. As consumers lifting their newer JKs they found there is an interference issue between the front driveshaft and the exhaust crossover pipe when the suspension is at full droop. JKS Manufacturing now offers a simple solution designed to eliminate the front driveline interference when used with 2-4'' of suspension lift on the 2012-2014 Jeep Wrangler JKs by extending the exhaust pipe to reposition the crossover point nearly 1-1/4'' rearward providing sufficient driveshaft clearance.
The exhaust extensions are machined from 2-1/2'' x 1/4'' wall DOM tubing, designed to match the factory exhaust flare joints for a tight leakproof seal. The extensions can be installed in a matter of minutes without the need to drill, cut, or weld. Simply unbolt the exhaust clamping hardware and install the extensions with the supplied longer mounting hardware. These extensions are designed to be used with Jspec suspension systems and can be used with most other 2-4'' lift kits for the 2012-2014 Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited JK.
