It's so white and shiny it's almost a shame to get it dirty. Actually it would be a shame NOT to get it dirty! This 1979 Ford F150, owned and driven by Zack Lorenzi, went home with a crowning glory of mud all over her.
Coming in 1st for class 3, David Yost and his mean little Suzuki samurai really let the mud fly in the 32.26 seconds it took for him to complete the horseshoe.
Kyle Gravelle in his 1970 Chevy ran a full pass for class 3. Why? Because the chicks dig it naturally.
There were no lack of jeeps for the jeep freak at heart. Cherokees, CJ's, and Willys take your pick.
The self-proclaimed bandit lived up to its name in class 4 blowing smoke and sending mud sailing.
Michael Pollack in his GMC really gave it his all on the last straight-a-way of the horseshoe. There was no hesitation as he hammered it down to get that air! Look at him go!
Couldn't make it out for the spring race? Truck not ready in time? Did you make it halfway through and lose your drive shaft? Just can't seem to get enough of watching trucks race in a mess of mud? Well, never fear you have a second opportunity to have some fun before summer ends. The next run will be September 7th, 2014. Do yourselves a favor and mark your calendars. It's a fun day for the whole family! Remember - there's camping and come watch the drag racing the night before, which is always a great time and a way to make your way around to see the trucks and talk to other drivers!
