AEV Brute Pickup Conversion Kit for 1997-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Destined to be an American classic! Offering utility, great styling, and AEV durability, this is the AEV Brute pickup conversion. Countless hours of design have made this the ultimate conversion for any TJ Wrangler (SWB, LWB, LHD, RHD). Originally designed in 2002 (and a winner of the Daimler/Chrysler Design Excellence Award), the Brute is now available in kit form. Changes from the concept vehicle include an all new hardtop with increased headroom and two small skylights, plus a redesigned stamped steel bed that offers even more storage space.
The kit comes over 90% assembled, with an average build time of around 60 hours. Additionally, the kit can be purchased in various stages to meet your specific needs or budget.

Quality but expensive
After thinking for a while, I decided to finally take the plunge on the brute conversion kit. I shopped around and OK4WD was the cheapest and they had free shipping... something no one else would do.Let me say that quality comes at a price. This kit is something I'd expect from the dealer. The quality is second to none. However, like I said earlier, it is pricey. If you can get over that hump you will be happy.
I had a shop near me install it and it took them about a month. In the end, I have a Jeep that I have yet to see anyone else have and its much more functional than the standard Jeep. I get stopped ALL the time and people are always asking me about it.
Thanks again to OK4WD for the fast shipping and the cheap prices. You really can't beat them. I've ordered a lot more stuff since the Brute kit from them and every time its a pleasure.
On my last note: Get this. You won't regret it.
